Mounting profiles, PVC films, and DPS textiles—a comprehensive guide to stretch ceiling and wall systems

01 of October '26

The most visible element of any stretch ceiling or wall is its surface. It defines the character of the interior, influences the way light is perceived, and determines the final aesthetic effect. The DPS Group offers one of the widest ranges of textures and colors for PVC films available on the market, encompassing dozens of shades and many finish options.

All of these can be found in the AC2 and AF2 catalogs, as well as in the current online color swatch. Each texture constitutes a separate product family, differing in optical properties, intended use, and design possibilities.

DPS Mat — matte surface
Matte PVC film creates an elegant, subdued surface free of light reflections, imitating the texture of a paint roller. Its uniform character makes it a perfect fit for minimalist and modern interiors, as well as office spaces, hotels, and public facilities. Thanks to its high resistance to deformation, it works exceptionally well on large surfaces where stability and a uniform appearance are essential.

DPS Satine — satin finish
The satin texture combines a subtle sheen with soft light reflections, creating an effect of depth and elegance. This solution is ideal for interiors that require a delicate play of light without an intense sheen. DPS Satine is often chosen for living rooms, restaurants, and premium spaces where a balanced, timeless visual effect is key.

DPS Laque — glossy surface
The glossy DPS Laque film offers a mirror-like effect and intense light reflection, thereby visually enlarging the space and adding a striking decorative accent. It is a signature choice for modern interiors, showrooms, galleries, and commercial spaces where dynamism and a strong visual impact are key. The rich color palette allows you to create bold, striking compositions.

DPS Transparent — Translucent and Transparent Surfaces
Translucent andtransparentfilms enable the creation of illuminated ceilings and walls that can be backlit in any way. The material transmits light to varying degrees, allowing you to design light panels, LED installations, and striking compositions based on uniform light diffusion. DPS Transparent is used in private spaces, hotels, spas, reception areas, and offices.

DPS Metalic — metallized surfaces
DPS Metalic metallized films offer a shimmering metallic effect, creating a striking, modern surface with a deep optical texture. This solution is ideal for industrial, designer, and commercial interiors where a strong decorative accent and material durability are key.

DPS Picture — printed surfaces
DPS Picture allows for full customization of the surface thanks to printing based on any image of sufficient quality. The film allows for the reproduction of graphics, photos, textures, or logos, making it ideal for commercial spaces, hotels, restaurants, offices, and private interiors. The print is produced in high resolution and is UV-resistant.

DPS Perf — Perforated Surfaces
DPS Perf perforated films are produced based on a design provided by the customer or selected from a ready-made catalog of designs. The perforations can serve a decorative or lighting function, creating striking compositions when combined with backlighting. This solution is frequently used in design projects, art installations, and ceilings intended to combine aesthetic appeal with lighting effects.

DPS Acoustic — micro-perforated surfaces
DPS Acoustic consists of micro-perforated films that improve room acoustics by reducing reverberation and absorbing sound. Their appearance is similar to matte or satin, allowing them to retain the elegance of classic textures while offering acoustic functionality. They are used in conference rooms, movie theaters, theaters, recording studios, and modern offices.

DPS Biopruf — surfaces with enhanced sterility
DPS Biopruf film has antibacterial and antifungal properties, making it an ideal solution for medical facilities, laboratories, clinics, and facilities with heightened sanitary requirements. Installation Systems and Wedge Clips

DPS mounting profiles form the foundation upon which the entire stretch ceiling or wall structure rests. They determine how the surface will be aligned, what lighting or acoustic effects can be achieved, and how the edge detailing will appear. Each profile collection caters to different design needs—from classic installations with a visible gap, through minimalist Slim finishes, to the Wall2Wall system, which allows the mounting line to be almost completely concealed. This enables architects to create both simple, elegant ceilings and complex spatial compositions.
